Could he be any cuter?  Little Caleb has a smile that won’t quit!  You spread a lot of joy to those who love you, Caleb!  Thanks for shining on my day!

We have to remind ourselves how precious these moments are.  Grandmas are so special…..especially to the little ones, I think.  Taking the time to bring cousins together for a photo with Grandma builds a memory and tells the children that Grandma is important!  The photo of Grandma and kids will bring back all kinds of memories down the road.  Thank you to Erica and her family for letting me be a part of the memory building!  I LOVE families!

Colter and his brothers came for a photo session.  As you can see, this little boy is adorable!  And what a joy to photograph.  This is his second session here and we are doing a yearly wall panel for the so important growing years.  We see the little ones leave the baby stage behind and move into “little person” stage!  It is so much fun watching them change.  I was so busy with my own I did not get to do much observing from the sidelines!!  Take those photos!  Then you will have the memories to look back on.  I love photographing children.  I especially love letting them make the pose.  If you are going to a studio, bring along a few of those special things to use as props.  They help make the memory portraits tell stories!  Colter was all ready to go and I saw him in his bibs.  Perfect for a little farm boy….. I had to get a shot.  He, of course, stood and copied his grandpa and daddy as he posed.  Precious!

I really enjoyed meeting Dillon. He is one of my 2011 Senior Models. What an awesome guy! Looks like a model, doesn’t he? Dillon is a senior at Washington High in Sioux Falls. He is a baseball player and plans to play college baseball. We went to the beautiful Elk Point SD baseball diamond and took images there. What a great place to photograph the baseball players! Thanks Dillon for joining my team this year. You have a bright future ahead of you!

Joe and Amy Lechtenberg came to the farm for their family photo. Great looking family. I really enjoyed the experience! We buzzed from spot to spot to catch the beautiful evening light!

Congratulations to Tom and Pat on their 40th anniversary! Their beautiful family is a testament to their lives!

It was so much fun visiting with Gayle this morning at the viewing. She is program director for S.T.E.M.M., a medical mission group that is doing so much more than that! Check them out at http://www.stemm.org/. They are doing an auction in November to raise support and awareness. Now I want to go to Africa!!! Anywho! It was great fun photographing this family. You can tell their grandchildren find their grandparents pretty special people!

Well, this was something new or me! I photographed a bull! Thanks Justin for this new experience. The bull was very well behaved. You did an awesome job at the shoot.

Kathy and Dallas Klemme have been drawn as the winners to my Family Farm Photo Legacy project. They will receive a FREE visit by me to their farm. I will spend a couple of hours photographing the farm, the work, the family and whatever else they want. A special welcome to Adam and Becky Glover’s new baby. He’s got Dad’s dimples and is a little peanut having decided to present himself earlier than expected! It is so much fun to take these little newborns and play with them while they are sleeping! You can do the darnedest things!
