Grandma and her kids!
We have to remind ourselves how precious these moments are. Grandmas are so special…..especially to the little ones, I think. Taking the time to bring cousins together for a photo with Grandma builds a memory and tells the children that Grandma is important! The photo of Grandma and kids will bring back all kinds of memories down the road. Thank you to Erica and her family for letting me be a part of the memory building! I LOVE families!
Jordan Heeren
Jordan got some awesome photos. She is one of my 2011 models from Akron, Iowa. She is active in dance and is an artist! Jordan is Lauren’s twin, in case you were wondering if I put the same girl up twice! Jordan has been great fun in our 4-H club. She works hard on her dance and cheer activities. The collage is one of my favorite things to do as it gives a great memory of the “many faces” of the senior. I suggested she try on my leather jacket. It matched her hair and complexion beautifully and we got a great shot. I like to have a few props like that around for those times when you know it will really work with a client.
Dillon Schenkel
I really enjoyed meeting Dillon. He is one of my 2011 Senior Models. What an awesome guy! Looks like a model, doesn’t he? Dillon is a senior at Washington High in Sioux Falls. He is a baseball player and plans to play college baseball. We went to the beautiful Elk Point SD baseball diamond and took images there. What a great place to photograph the baseball players! Thanks Dillon for joining my team this year. You have a bright future ahead of you!

The Rob Vinson Family

What a great family! We were working on a family portrait and a 2 years old shot for Treyce. And Treyce had us all figured out. He really made me work for that smile. Boy, will he be a tease when he gets older. His eyes alone will make you melt! Here at my studio in Elk Point, South Dakota, I was privileged to photograph this beautiful family. Thank you Rob and Janeane for giving me this opportunity! Can’t wait to show you the rest.
A boy and his wagon
Cadence was a perfect model! He is 6 months old. Now he is my grandson so I might be a little prejudice, but don’t you think he should be on a billboard somewhere? LOL The portraits are a special technique I use to create one-of-a-kind wall portraits. If you have a child that needs his portrait updated, consider this type of art for your walls. I love it because it is recording tomorrow’s history in a unique way. It makes a piece of art that says, “I’m a keeper!”
